It’s wonderful waking up to the sound of a child’s laughter in the morning, but prior to six in the morning can be described as a little harsh. Mornings are not very hard as we have the aforementioned Bear in our arsenal, which is mandatory since I am not nearly functional enough prior to six, or even seven to provide healthy entertainment for the wee lad. Bear provides a long enough diversion for me to: make coffee, make breakfast for boy, drink coffee, after feeding boy: write this post, take a shower and get dressed. As a result, the Bear is highly valued by me. Especially because boy has not tried to steal my computer or coffee or throw things at me in the shower. The downside of all this is that we only have a few Bear videos, so I am very familiar with all of them and their damn catchy songs. Songs that are sung in my head, occasionally out loud, all day long.
