I really like coffee and beyond just liking have a wicked physical addiction that compels me to imbibe some coffee drink twice a day. Lately, I’ve been on an afternoon Macchiato kick. This one, not this lame thing, which while I’m sure tastes great, a Macchiato it is not, though you can order an Espresso Macchiato from Starbucks, but I have yet to do so. I like the Macchiato because it’s light and tasty yet has the requisite caffeine I need for the afternoon. I like a regular cup of coffee too, but if I’m full from lunch then this hits the spot.

This Macchiato came from Latteland and is my favorite in Kansas City thus far, though I am on a Macchiato quest so I’ll be testing from every place I go. Check out that rosette. Pretty cool on such a small drink. Note my fingers for scale. I just wish I could convince my boss that buying an espresso machine is critical to business operations.
